About New Africa Mining Fund

NAMF is a specialist private equity fund located in Johannesburg and established in 2003, with approximately ZAR564 million of committed capital. NAMF invests in early to later stage junior exploration, mining and beneficiation activities (“Junior Miners”) in Africa, in resources such as base metals, platinum group metals, gold, coal and other bulk minerals such as iron, manganese and chromite.

NAMF, which is managed by Decorum Capital Partners (PTY) Ltd, seeks to invest in Junior Miners with high quality management and that have the potential to become substantial mining operations or which are likely to be acquired by larger mining operators. NAMF provides capital to Junior Miners for the purposes of exploration, feasibility studies or development and expansion.

As of 28 February 2009 NAMF is closed for new investments. Our track record of having returned capital to investors substantially in excess of capital drawn down at superior returns has positioned the investment team to pursue a fund raising for a follow-on fund, NAMF II.
